PTFA
The PTFA is run by a small but enthusiastic and dedicated group of parents who organise a whole range of fund raising events from our Christmas and Summer Fairs to Film Nights, Clothing Collections, Night Hikes, Cake Sales and Discos ..… to name but a few!
As a result of all our hard work we have been able to fund a number of whole school activities such as our regular visiting Christmas Pantomime, our visits to Cattle Country and, last summer, the Countryside Skills ‘Big Day Out’, all of which the children thoroughly enjoy.
In the past we have donated a considerable sum to help buy the new Outdoor Classroom, which is used regularly by the classes and parents and provides shelter in bad weather and shade in sunny weather and the much used Tangle Tree Climbing Frame and we have recently funded the purchase of a new class set of laptops.
This year our fundraising efforts will continue, so keep a look out in the newsletters or on our new Facebook page. We are still discussing how to spend the proceeds we raise. However, new books for all the classes is something at the top of the list. If you have an idea then please let us know.
We are a friendly team and are always looking for new members who are willing to spare a few hours of their time to help us with an event or two!
