ADJUSTED TEACHING

At King’s Stanley C of E Primary School we implement the Education Endowment Foundation’s “5 a day” strategy, which is used throughout the curriculum to support all our leaners, especially those with barriers to engaging in their learning opportunities. Using explicit teaching, cognitive and metacognitive strategies, scaffolding, flexible grouping, using technology teachers facilitate lessons for all leaners despite of need where their true learning potential can be seen and nurtured. Each subject learner has created a 5 a day sheet with suggested activities in all 5 areas for all years groups, in order for all teachers be feel secure in their provision of adjusted strategies in their lessons.
